This incredible cancer center and bed tower is how we plan to fight cancer in eastern North Carolina, and it’s happening because of people like you — so let’s make sure we get to our goal in 2018.

Given that cancer is the second leading cause of death for Americans, it’s all too often part of our lives — and chances are, it’s already touched your life in some way. We’ve used Foundation funds to increase early detection and screening, as well as survivorship and support programs — but we need to do more. Why? Because eastern North Carolina has a higher cancer mortality rate than the rest of the state — a statistic we can change with your help.

Since 1983, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals has been raising funds for hospitals across the United States and Canada — and our very own Maynard Children’s Hospital is one of them. All of the money raised through the local CMN Hospitals program stays right here in eastern North Carolina to support sick and injured children in our community.

Disability after a disease or injury is life altering — but access to the very best rehab center can make all the difference, allowing people to reclaim their lives and achieve functional independence. We see the difference we’re making every day — with the help of Foundation funds — but we want to do even more. Explore some of the innovative ways we’re helping patients of all ages gain the confidence and skills they need to return to their families, jobs or school.
